Skymizer, renowned for its prowess in AI system software, recently marked a significant milestone in the realm of artificial intelligence for compact devices. At the prestigious TinyML Asia event in Seoul, our Business Development Manager, Peter Chang, delivered an enlightening speech titled “Benchmarking AI Compiler for the TinyML Market,” offering insights into the capabilities of Skymizer’s innovative AI compiler, ONNC.

This June, Skymizer contributed essential benchmark data to MLPerf Tiny v1.1, showcasing two different MCUs – one from Nuvoton and another from STMicrocontroller. The demonstration aimed to highlight the efficiency of ONNC in the TinyML sector, with outstanding results in performance, energy efficiency, and memory usage optimization.

Peter Chang’s presentation began with an introduction to the MLPerf Tiny benchmark, leading to a comprehensive narrative of their involvement in the benchmarking process. He further explored the optimization of AI models for hardware from a compiler’s perspective, emphasizing the adaptability and power of ONNC.

The speech concluded with a forward-looking discussion on the evolution of benchmark designs to better align with the rapidly growing TinyML market.
